Declined transactions may appear on your statements when the merchant or retailer refused your transaction (or the transaction fails) and fails to update Curve. When that happens, Curve processes the payment anyway but that doesn’t mean you’ll be left out of pocket!
Normally, the payment authorisation should automatically expire after 10 days, at which point our system will reverse the payment and you’ll be refunded to your payment card in 2-5 working days.
If you've had an issue with a decline that was subsequently charged, please get in touch with us including a receipt as the evidence of the decline – we may be able to refund the transaction.
