Declined transactions may appear on your statements when the merchant or retailer declines your transaction (or the transaction fails) and fails to update Curve, causing your payment to be processed. Although this is bad merchant behaviour, it happens occasionally and does not mean that you will lose your money.
In these circumstances, the payment "authorisation" will expire after 10 days, at which point our system will automatically reverse the payment for you - you should see this amount refunded to your account 2-3 working days of this. If you were provided a decline receipt for this payment, please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org or by raising a ticket in your app as we may be able to reverse the charge sooner for you.
If you've had an issue with a decline that was subsequently charged, please get in touch with us in-app or via email@example.com with evidence of the decline and we will refund the transaction.
