What is a Virtual Curve Card and where is it available?
You can view your card details in the Curve app. Tap the “Account” tab on the bottom left corner of the screen, then select the “View card details” option.
The safety of your details is our highest priority. Because of this, your physical card will have a different CVC code and expiry date. You can still use your digital card while the physical card is being delivered. The digital card details will be updated once you receive and activate your physical card within the Curve app.
How do I order a physical card and what are the charges?
Currently, there's no fee to order your first physical Curve Card and it's going to be sent to you as soon as you set up your Curve account.
Any subsequent reissues of your Curve Card may incur additional fees as per our Terms of Service (see here), depending on the subscription tier. This amount covers the cost of replacing your card. You can do this at any time in the Curve app – simply tap the “Account” tab on the bottom part of the screen. You'll then be able to select the “Order a physical card” option and choose your delivery address.
RestrictionsAlthough there aren’t any limits when you’re paying with your Curve Card via Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay you might want to remember that some merchants may only allow using contactless payment methods for transactions up to 30-45 GBP/EUR. To complete such a transaction with your Curve Card you’d have to order a physical card.
Also, our Curve Metal customers are benefitting from a feature called LoungeKey™. To enter an eligible airport lounge, you’ll need to present your physical Curve Metal Card and you won’t be able to get by with your digital card only. Sorry!
However, your Curve Metal digital card allows you to take full advantage of all other Curve Metal subscription perks such as worldwide travel, phone, and rental car collision waiver insurance, but also unlimited access to interbank FX rates.
You won't be charged for your first Curve Metal Card, but any subsequent reissues may incur a 50 GBP/EUR fee, as per our Terms of Service (see here). This amount covers the cost of replacing your card.
