- Open your app and head to your “Settings” within the “Account” tab.
- Select the “Anti-Embarrassment Mode” section of the screen and add desired cards as your backup cards. You can drag and drop the cards to rearrange the order in which they’ll be used in case of a decline.
3. Press “Confirm Changes” to save your new settings.
Your backup cards selection will apply for every payment card you’ve added to Curve, no need to set different cards.
How do I turn this feature off?
It’s an opt-in feature so you can turn it on and off whenever you want.
Just head to the “Anti-Embarrassment Mode” section of the “Settings” tab (Account tab > Settings > Anti-Embarrassment Mode) and remove any payment card that you’ve set as a backup card. Don’t forget to “Confirm Changes” at the bottom of the screen once you’re done!
Both my cards were declined
You still might get declined, even with a number of backup cards active in your Curve app. There’s a number of reasons why this might have happened.
Drop us a message if you’d fancy more details on a specific decline and we’ll investigate it for you.
