Put simply, Curve Send allowed you to send money to anyone from any of your active payment cards within your Curve Wallet, and any money you sent will land in the recipient’s Curve Cash balance.
We are turning this feature off on September 6th 2021 so we can make it work better for you!
Why are we turning off Curve Send?
We’re turning off Curve Send because in its current state it’s not delivering the best experience for you. It has too many limitations and we know you deserve better. So, after lengthy discussion, we ultimately decided the best thing to do would be to go back to the drawing board and start again.
Will Curve Send return?
Absolutely! We’re not giving up on this feature and you’ll be the first to know when it’s back and better than ever! Curve is always working towards developing exciting features and benefits that we know our customers will love.
What does this mean for my Curve Cash?
Nothing! There will be no changes to your Curve Cash after we turn off Curve Send.
What happens to the money I have already received/sent using this feature?
It’ll stay within Curve Cash as normal, if you’ve received money via Curve Send you can continue to spend this securely through your Curve Cash card when you’ve selected it in the app, and the same goes for sending money too! If you’ve sent someone money who’s not on Curve yet, don’t worry, they’ll still receive it even if they sign up after September 6.
Will this change my Curve Cash balance?
There will be no changes to Curve Cash or your balance as a result of this change to Curve Send, you’ll still keep any money you’ve received and be able to spend it as normal! For more information on how to use your Curve Cash you can visit our FAQs on this topic here.
